Ministerial office

Overview

A public office needs a public voice it controls

Ministerial communication moves faster than any content management process designed for a corporate website. The office needed a platform its own team could run: publishing speeches, articles and news across two languages, organised so that citizens, media and industry could each find what they came for.

Challenge

A national figure with constant output and no single, credible home for it. Existing channels were scattered and none carried the authority of an official platform.

Objectives

One authoritative platform. Fast publishing by the office team. Clear separation of background, speeches, news and articles, in both languages.

Discovery

We mapped how the office actually produces content week by week, then designed the publishing model around that rhythm rather than around a template.

The solution

One platform, run by the office

Part 1

Custom website system

Built to the office's structure: background, speeches, news and articles, each with its own publishing flow.

4content streams
Part 2

Bilingual delivery

Full Bahasa Malaysia and English, so no audience reads a second class version.

2languages
Part 3

Editorial control

A publishing interface the office team uses directly, without a developer in the loop.

0developer dependency
Part 4

Managed hosting

Infrastructure, monitoring and security handled by us, so the platform stays up when attention peaks.

Timeline

From brief to live in a week

Day 2 to 4

Build

Platform, publishing flows and bilingual structure.

Day 5

Content

Existing material migrated and organised.

Week 1

Live

Published, monitored and handed to the team.

Business outcome

A national figure with a platform that matches the office

The office publishes on its own terms, in both languages, without waiting on anyone. Media and industry have one authoritative source, and the platform has run without incident since launch.

What we carry forward: When the client is a public office, publishing speed is the feature. Design the content model around how the team actually works and the platform gets used every week rather than every quarter.
